Meet our Podiatrist Joe Keain!
Joe graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Podiatry in 2016 from the University of South Australia. Since graduating he has expanded his knowledge in the areas of biomechanics and sports, completing dry needling and foot mobilisation courses.
Having suffered previously with shin splints, Joe can sympathise with those wanting to be pain free and get back to doing what they enjoy. In fact, most of his enjoyment in working as a Podiatrist comes down to being able to keep active people active! He loves helping his clients to be pain-free as quickly as possible, and with the right advice to avoid injuries for the long term.
Joe has worked at the Athletes Foot for four years while studying where he developed a broad knowledge of footwear. Joe provides in-house Podiatry advice at The Athlete’s Foot Modbury each month so he certainly is aware of the latest when it comes to sports shoes. Make sure to keep an eye out on our Facebook page for when he is in store next!
Joe works closely with all ages and activity levels. He works closely with the Tea Tree Gully Little Athletics Club, and many lawns bowls clubs around Adelaide. If it’s children’s Podiatry you’re after, or even care for a grand parent, you’ll be in caring hands with Joe!
In his spare time you’ll find Joe writing songs and performing at local gigs around Adelaide. He also enjoys watching the footy and spending time with his mates.
